Some More 'Sleep' Section Teasers...

Yep! You can take a sneak preview of these pages, way before anyone else sees the full sleep section online ;). Here are a few more sneak previews for you:

Apparently even healthy people develop symptoms of Chronic Fatigue Syndrome and Fibromyalgia when they are deprived of sleep. I write all about it here...

And here's the interesting part... - which is about your growth hormones and what they have to do with your CFS symptoms.

Unfortunately I haven't finished this sub-section (remember I work at snails-pace. No actually maybe slower than that! ;)), but here is an interesting page on growth hormones deficiency - notice a similarity with symptoms of CFS/FM anyone?

More 'Sleep' Section Teasers...

Here are some more pages from the new 'sleep' section I'm working on. Please remember that the section isn't finished, which is why some of the links don't work on the pages you'll be taking a 'sneak preview' at...

OK so I guess a real teaser is the introduction page to the mini-section that explains why us CFS sufferers have a sleep-rhythm-abnormality. You can check that out here...

I haven't finished coding that particular sub-section yet ;), but here is the page titled "CFS & FM Sufferers Have A Deficiency In Restorative Sleep" and the explanation is here.

Interesting stuff I think. I found researching this section particularly interesting!

The Ongoing Saga Of The New Sleep Section

The problem with having Post Viral Fatigue Syndrome is that you can't do much (if anything) in a day. It means I work at snails-pace in fact. But hey, better late than never right?

If you read the Free Sleepydust E-Magazine you might have noticed how I've said that I'm working on a new section on sleep. Problem is - this has been going on for months now. I think I started working on it in spring - maybe earlier than that. And STILL I haven't got it online!

Well I have done some of it, but because I haven't finished coding it all, I've not made the sleep section accessible yet. But instead of leaving you in suspense, I thought I'd at least show you a few of the pages I've done so far!

For now, this is the ONLY way to access these pages - so call it a 'sneak preview'! Don't forget - the section is not finished yet, so it means that many of the pages aren't linked to each other yet.

“If you have Chronic Fatigue Syndrome or Fibromyalgia and sleep so much then why on earth do you need treatments and therapies to help you to sleep more?

Don’t you sleep enough?”

That's the confusion. Here's the answer...

After a quick introduction about sleep and CFS, the section goes on to talk about how many doctors believe that a sleep disorder is at the bottom of CFS.

I'll leave you with that little teaser for now, but will post again with more 'sneak-preview' pages from the new 'sleep' section!

Welcome to a brand-spanking new blog!

Hi guys!

Claire here - Editor of Sleepydust.net. And this is sleepydust's new blog! This is where to find the latest gossip, news, and updates.

It's also where I'll be posting tips, articles, and other stuff related to Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (CFS ), Post Viral Fatigue Syndrome (PVFS ), M.E., and Fibromyalgia (FM ).

I'm quite excited about this! I do have an online diary but that's more of a personal account of my life as a Post Viral Fatigue Syndrome sufferer. This diary will be more to do with sleepydust.net.

So what's new?

What apart from this blog you mean? ;)

Well I'm (slowly) sprucing up sleepydust.net! It's finally having a 'makeover'! It's not going to be unrecognisable - but changes will be made. Some of the design aspects will stay, while others will go.

There have been parts of sleepydust that I've just not been happy with for some time now. Finally, I've put time aside to sort it out and I'm really looking forward to it.

In fact, I've actually already started making some changes!

First, I've added a page with reviews of ten items /supplements /medicines /treatments for CFS /FM. You can check the new CFS/FM product review page out here...

Finally! I've got my act together! Instead of mentioning what works for me (and others) here and there, I've finally put my reviews in one place!

I'll be adding to it - there are lots of other products/supplements etc I've tried but I thought a 'Top 10' would be a good place to start. I'll keep you posted on this blog when I add more reviews.

Second, I've redone the nav-bar at the top of sleepydust.net. Darker colours but from the same palette. I did it unintentionally (I think I prefer the lighter colours) - but this new one is easier to read. So the lighter-coloured nav bar has been binned!

I guess I'm most excited about the new big buttons in the body part of the homepage! Lots of cool pics which I think really capture the essence of what 'sleepydust' is all about!

You can take a look at the changes I've made so far to the homepage here...

Let me know what you think ?
